Insights and filters

AEO Insights is eight views over one dataset, sharing one filter bar. Set a filter once and every view respects it — including the export.

The eight views

View	Answers
Overview	Where you stand overall, and against your competitor set.
Responses	The actual model answers behind the numbers.
Mentions	Every place your brand was named.
Sentiment	How you are characterised when you are named.
Sources	Which URLs the models cited — yours and everyone else's.
Topics	Visibility by theme rather than by individual prompt.
Fanout	The related queries a model runs on the way to an answer.
Locations	How the picture changes by geography.

The filter bar

The bar is sticky, so the filters stay visible as you scroll a long view.

Date range — 7d, 28d or 90d chips, plus Custom for an explicit from/to pair.
Engine — all engines, or one.
Topic — all topics, or one.
Prompt type — all prompts, branded only, or unbranded only. Branded prompts name you; unbranded ones do not, which makes them the harder and more interesting measure.
Grain — daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly buckets for the time series.
Location — shown only once a brand has more than one.
Reset — clears all of the above at once.

Filters live in the URL

Every filter is written into the query string rather than held in memory. Three consequences worth knowing: switching views keeps your filters; the browser back button undoes a filter change; and a filtered view can be sent to a colleague as a plain link that opens exactly what you were looking at.

Exporting

The export button exports the current view under the current filters, as CSV, JSON or PDF. It is not a dump of everything — what you see is what you get.

Ranksify reports a sample size and a 95% confidence interval alongside its visibility figures. Narrowing filters hard — one engine, one topic, seven days — leaves few samples and a wide interval. That is honest reporting of a small sample, not a broken metric; widen the window and the interval tightens.
