Comparison
Ranksify vs Searchable
Searchable is the product closest to ours, and it is good. This page is written from a documented walk-through of their live product rather than from their marketing site, and every row below is a difference we could actually point at — including the rows where they come out ahead.
Side by side
Where the two products actually differ
Rows are limited to differences we can evidence. Anything the two products do the same way is left out rather than dressed up.
| Dimension | Ranksify | Searchable |
|---|---|---|
| Dark mode | Light and dark, theme-aware throughout the product. | Light-only; no dark toggle was found anywhere in their shell during the walk. |
| Uncertainty on the numbers | Every rate carries a 95% Wilson confidence interval and the sample size it was computed from, so a 40% visibility score from ten samples never reads like one from a thousand. | Scores and deltas are shown as point values; no interval or sample size was observed on their cards. |
| Benchmark population | Percentiles are computed against the competitors your brand actually tracks and has sampled. We do not hold a cross-customer benchmark, and we do not quote one. | Reports include an industry percentile drawn from their whole tracked-brand population — a larger comparison set than your own cohort. |
| Engines measured | Five engines, never sold per engine: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answered through their own APIs, plus Google AI Overviews measured through a search-results provider. | A base set of engines, with further models offered as post-trial add-ons. |
| Search and analytics connectors | Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Bing Webmaster Tools, with credentials held per brand rather than per account. | The same three providers are offered. They were not connected on the account we walked, so we cannot describe their live behaviour. |
| API and webhooks | A public v1 API with a published OpenAPI document, and outbound webhooks signed with HMAC-SHA256 so receivers can verify them. | An API is offered; no webhook configuration was present in their API keys area during the walk. |
| MCP access | An MCP server you can point Claude, Cursor or Windsurf at, with a ready-made config in settings. Keys are minted under Settings → API keys, where each key is either workspace-wide or scoped to one brand, and that scope is enforced on every MCP call. | Also offered, with the same per-brand scoping — theirs on a dedicated token-minting screen rather than alongside the rest of the API keys. |
| What the entry paid tier includes | White-label reporting, scheduled reports, API access and MCP are all switched on from our lowest paid plan. See pricing. | White-labelling sits on a higher tier in their billing dialog. |
| Visitor geography | Our beacon stores no visitor IP address. Where a breakdown is sample data rather than yours, the card says so on its face instead of filling the gap. | Their beacon captures visitor geography and device, so their country and device cards populate from real traffic where ours stay honest-empty. |
| AI shopping visibility | Not built. | A dedicated AI-shopping surface that appears for brands with shopping data. |
| In-app teaching | Written documentation and an in-app help dialog. No tutorial videos. | A learning centre with per-surface tutorial videos alongside the checklist and support links. |
Straight answer
Choose Searchable if…
Three real reasons, each one a thing they have built and we have not. If any of them is the deciding factor for you, they are the better purchase and we would rather you found that out here.
Industry benchmarks
You need to tell a board how you compare to your industry, not to the competitors you happen to track. Their reports carry a percentile drawn from their whole customer population. Ours compares you only against your own tracked cohort, because that is the only population we can stand behind — but it is a smaller claim.
Commerce
You sell products and want AI shopping visibility specifically. They ship a surface for it. We have not built one, and we are not going to pretend a general visibility score is the same thing.
Visitor geography
You need country and device breakdowns of AI-referred visitors on day one. Their beacon collects that. Ours deliberately stores no visitor IP, which is a privacy position we like and a data gap you may not be able to live with.
The other side
Choose Ranksify if…
The same test, applied to us. Each of these is a row in the table above, not a slogan.
- You care whether a number is real. Confidence intervals and sample sizes sit on every rate, so you can tell a trend from a small-sample wobble before you act on it.
- You want the data out of the tool. A public v1 API with an OpenAPI document, HMAC-signed webhooks, and an MCP server for your own agents.
- You are reporting to clients. White-label and scheduled reports are on from the entry paid tier rather than reserved for an upgrade.
- You work in the dark. Light and dark themes, and five engines measured without per-engine add-ons.

How this page was written
So you can discount it appropriately.
Everything attributed to Searchable comes from a recorded walk-through of their live product carried out on 14 July 2026, on a real account with a real brand. It does not come from their marketing pages. Where the walk could not establish something — their connectors were not connected on that account, for example — this page says so rather than guessing.
Everything attributed to Ranksify was checked against our own source code while writing, not against our roadmap. If a capability is not shipped, it is listed as not built.
