Terms of Service

The agreement between Ranksify and the workspace that subscribes to it.

Last updated: 2 August 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Ranksify is operated by Ranksify Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

Ranksify Ltd is currently being incorporated. Until incorporation completes, the party you are contracting with is its founder trading as Ranksify, at the address above. When incorporation completes, Ranksify Ltd takes over this agreement on the same terms. We are telling you this because you are entitled to know who is on the other side of the contract.

These terms are a plain-English agreement; they are still binding. By creating an account or using Ranksify, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind it.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. An account belongs to one person — do not share credentials. You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping the details you register accurate.

A workspace has an owner, and every member holds a role that determines what they can do. Roles are enforced on our servers, not just in the interface. Seat counts are enforced when you invite someone: 5 seats on Pro, 20 on Scale.

Tell us at [email protected] as soon as you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Trials, subscriptions, billing and cancellation

There is no free tier. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial that requires a card and does not charge you on day one. At the end of the trial the plan you chose begins, and renews automatically until you cancel.

  • Pro — $99 per month, or $950 per year.
  • Scale — $349 per month, or $3,350 per year.

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. We do not currently charge VAT, because the entity is not VAT-registered; if that changes we will tell you before it affects an invoice.

Refunds. If you are not happy, ask us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that you can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for — we do not give pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period.

If a subscription lapses, we do not delete your workspace. It drops to a floor entitlement and the app shows a paywall until you resubscribe. Your data is still there.

Price changes get 30 days' notice by email, and never apply to a period you have already paid for.

4. What Ranksify reports, and what it does not promise

Ranksify asks third-party AI systems — including services operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity — the questions you configure, and reports what those systems answered at the moment we asked. That is the whole product, and it has real limits:

  • The answers are generated by systems we do not control and cannot inspect. They change without notice, and asking the same question twice can produce different answers.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of anything an AI system says, and reporting it is not us endorsing it.
  • We do not guarantee any ranking, any level of visibility, any traffic, or any commercial outcome. Nobody can — the systems being measured are not ours.
  • What you do with the results is your decision and your responsibility, including any change you make to your own website on the strength of them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-extract or resell the results Ranksify produces;
  • reverse engineer Ranksify, or use it as a route to reverse engineer, benchmark against their terms, or circumvent the rate limits of the AI providers behind it;
  • use Ranksify to manipulate or spam a third-party system — including generating content intended to game an answer engine, or submitting other people's domains for purposes other than legitimate competitive analysis;
  • upload or process unlawful content, or content you have no right to process;
  • interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities outside the terms on our security page, or use it in a way that degrades it for anyone else.

6. Your content and your data

Your data stays yours — the domains, brands, competitors, prompts and knowledge-base content you enter, and everything your connected accounts return. You grant us the licence we need to store and process it in order to run the service for you, and nothing wider.

We may use aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, your workspace or your customers — for example, how many prompts run across the platform in a month — to understand and improve the product.

Where we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies and forms part of these terms.

7. Third-party services

Ranksify depends on services we do not control: the AI answer engines above, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, Stripe, and the infrastructure providers listed in our privacy policy. If one of them changes its API, its pricing, its terms or its availability, what Ranksify can report may change or be interrupted. We will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot promise a third party will keep behaving as it does today.

When you connect an account, you authorise us to access it on your behalf under the scopes shown at the time. You can disconnect it at any time from within the app.

8. Availability, support and changes to the service

We do not offer an uptime commitment or an SLA at this stage. We would rather say that plainly than publish a number we have not earned the right to promise. We aim to keep Ranksify available and to fix problems quickly, and we take maintenance windows seriously.

Support is by email at [email protected].

We add, change and occasionally remove features. If we remove something you rely on, or make a change that materially reduces what your plan does, we will tell you by email before it happens.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or connected with these terms is capped at the total fees you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost goodwill, or lost or corrupted data, however caused.

Ranksify is provided as it is. Beyond what is stated in these terms and what the law requires, we give no warranties — in particular none about fitness for a particular purpose or about the results you will get.

10. Indemnity

You will cover us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of Ranksify in breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

11. Suspension and termination

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms. We will give notice and a chance to put it right where that is practicable — we will not always be able to, for example where we have to act immediately to protect the service or a third party.

Your data remains exportable while your account exists, and for a reasonable period after termination on request. Sections 4, 6, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination, along with any other clause that by its nature should.

12. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 14 days' notice by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Ranksify after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel before it takes effect and tell us — we will refund any unused period in that case.

Acceptance is recorded per account together with the version accepted, stamped on our servers. This page shows the current version at the top.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, email us first — most disagreements are cheaper and faster to resolve that way.
